After more than a decade programming small embedded devices with a couple ok kBytes RAM & flash I decided to do something new and started in a cloud development team using node.js and working with computers having endless memory (at least from my previous previous point of view…).

Creating node applications was (or better: still is) a new challenge. Mostly in a positive way but some things also were quite annoying and needed a lot of googling before turning into a positive experience. In this blog I post things about node I don’t want to google again or I consider as being useful for others being new in the node.js world.

I’m neither a node.js nor a JavaScript expert so don’t expect the perfect solutions being found here. But if you find something useful on this pages then the time spent creating the blog was worth it!
